This is the home of a new journal club for the universities of Hong Kong to discuss astrophysics and gravity, focusing on theoretical aspects. Anyone interested in joining is more than welcome to fill in the online registration form to then receive our weekly presentation announcements (including Zoom link, location, etc). We believe this could be a great opportunity to get some insights into theoretical papers and foundational tools.
For now, we are thinking of holding the journal club every Thursday, at 13h30, in the home institution of the speaker. The latter can present either a recent or landmark paper, or take this opportunity to detail tools/frameworks he/she thinks are interesting. The presentation would ideally last about 50 minutes, with 10 extra minutes for questions and discussions.
We are having a summer break from July to August, and resume in September. See you then~
